Should I tile or skim it first

Could i prime the walls and tile over the plaster or attempt to skim it first.

I've bought some proper bonding solution and tanking kit to do my plaster board behind the shower we had a plasterer look at it and he said he would bond it if tiling and skim if we where painting it but want it right 1st time as don't want to do it again

Depending on your skill level... tiling on an uneven surface requires a lot more care and attention than tiling on a flat surface.

Apart from the normal tiling tools you will need a true and flat batten to check the tiles are all flush to the wall as you go...
