repairing chip in steel bath

hi all

I was refurbing the shower when the flipping handle fell and chipped my bath! I was so upset!!

the chip is 1.4 inches across by 1 inch

it feel smooth, no jagged bits.

I was wondering if it could be repaired. if so what are my options

bath is metal

I haven't tried it, but as it's basically a ceramic coating I wonder if Milliput, carefully shaped and polished to be level with the original surface might work.
Degrease the surface with alcohol first.

You can buy kits for this sort of thing, you may not get a perfect colour match though.
