I've had this for years and never noticed that the precision measurement rule was obviously some kind of bad joke:

In a way it does not matter if you use the same gadget for measuring on the wall and on the table. Maybe it shrunk because of the paper paste but I can't think of a clever reason why the ruler might have got longer.

says "precision edge" not "precision rule" the question is which is right the axus or the tape measure ?
