hi all
i've currently had to shut my mains water off as im having issues with plumbing. during this time i have noticed my heating flick on when the thermostat kicks in. i was wondering if shutting the mains off affects the heating system? or can the central heating run as normal. ive turned my heating off just in case of any damage until i hear otherwise
thanks
a quick question regarding heating and water mains

Re: a quick question regarding heating and water mains
Your heating only requires "new water" if you drain it, since this is not the case you can leave it on while the water main is off.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

(Rhetorical question) Why would there be "strange noises?"
