Exterior oil

Post by OchAye »

Any suggestions please for any exterior oil to use on new treated decking handrail. Decking oils come in silly quantities (I only got 4 metres of hand rail) ... the nearest I can find is furniture oil (Liberon packages it in 1/2 and 1 litre quantities, finding it locally is another story).

S.Fix have an offer on Ronseal and though it is 5ltr it will keep and you will need annual re apply (sun bleaching might occur even with UV filter over a year) with any oil, I usually go for the cheapest as my deck gets green whatever I have used, so No nonsense when on offer.
