From what I can see in the picture, the corner doesn’t appear to have a corner bead which is used as a straight edge to form a corner.
If that is the case then your options are;
1. Fit a corner bead and either re plaster/use filler to feather out the new high spot ( more durable in the long term as corners get knocked )
2. Fit a external corner moulding to protect the edges then paint the same colour as the wall ( it will do the job but is not ideal if you want to wallpaper at a later date )
3. Fill the damaged area with filler and hope you won’t have to do it every year or two.
