Repair slate damp proof course

I’m renovating a 1950s house and in the process of removing floor tiles, cracked a small bit of the slate damp proof membrane. About an inch square. I am looking for advice on an effective low cost repair. Could I use an epoxy resin on the small area?

I don’t have the budget or time for major work, so something pretty straightforward would be ideal.
