I was thinking a sheet of plastic with a few holes in to tie, but a brief glance, showed that that was pretty expensive.
I was looking for removable solutions.

Now it makes sense, chicken wire or 25mm mesh

its easy to form to shape, most of the cat pens are made of the 25mm mesh, and I have made storage baskets from it for the cat toys and hand gel that are simply zip tied to the mesh
