Wires too short at back of socket.

Long story short, putting new sockets on after some work and the wires coming out of the wall are too short. Is it possible to extend them without running a new wire? Wago connectors and short length of new wire maybe? I would guess even choc blocks would work since they won't be buried. :dunno:

If there isn't room for wagos, what about crimped or soldered extensions?

If you use a ratchet crimper, no problem. Solder and sleeve is also acceptable. But wagos are quicker.
