Wooden plunge router (well, the base at least)

This guy makes his own wooden plunge base for a laminate trimmer type motor (or for that matter a fixed base trim router or Dremel-type motor). Some interesting techniques in use here. The most amazing thing (to me) is how many home made machines he has in his shop:

Homemade tools a massive thing on youtube, loads of multi-10k sub channels devoted to it basically.
