Adding cladding the outbuilding door

Hi there,

I want to add cladding to a door that opens inwards on our outbuilding shed. Is this possible? Or would I have to change the door so it opens outwards? Adding the cladding to the door could make it an inch thicker.

cant look at the picture as i need to register
assuming the present door closes onto a door stop or rebate you will have to move the stop or have the new cladding back from the door edge about 12mm to clear the rebate
