Hi, v quick Q....
Our shower pump keeps kicking in to life every so often when no one is using the shower!
It bursts in to life for 5 seconds every hour or so.
Any ideas?

1. If it only runs the shower, possibly an airlock.
2. If it runs more than one outlet, see if WC is passing water into pan or overflow. This would cause pump to start every now and again.

Sorry should have mentioned it’s soley for the shower. Hot and cold feed to the pump and then only to the shower

Not really an expert on showers, but has it always done it or just started?
If the latter then has any plumbing work been done recently? Could possibly be caused by a dead leg somewhere.
