Can anything be done with this table?

Hey,

Ive had to get a second hand table... money isnt the best..

It doesnt look the best.. ok for now but wondering if I can do anything to make it fit in, ive a nice rug its on..

Its a wooden table but it looks old and its stained..

Appreciate any help at all, dump if I cant do something :(

I agree. If it is made of decent quality wood, or even a good quality wood veneer, theres a fair chance that it could be improved quite significantly. But we would need pictures and/or more details to say anything very specific.
