Dual Flush Toilet

Post by geezer1 »

Hi
We have a dual flush toilet. When I went to flush it just now nothing happened. The button wouldn't let me push it in
Any of you kind people got any ideas what might be the cause
Many thanks

Take the top off and try and push each rod seprately. See what happens. If you are still having issues then you will need to close the water inlet, empty the water inside and then start taking apart the flush mechanism. Some parts on some brands are replaceable. If not then you can put in a new system from screwfix etc.

Thanks gents.
When I opened it the push buttons are joined to a white box with a blue pipe coming off that and into the main part. So is it the buttons or the white box I have to replace?
Thanks again
