hi, I need some advice. I want to gloss paint some interior wood daydo rails a dark brown. I was wondering if it would be OK to use an exterior brown gloss as I can't find any interior gloss in the colour I need.
Thanks in advance

Re: Using exterior gloss indoors.
Paint meant for exteriors usually contains fungicidal chemicals which wouldn't do you any good if used indoors where you are more likely to breath them in, especially if you have children in the house.
You can get interior gloss mixed up to any colour in many outlets.

Re: Using exterior gloss indoors.
Don't use external trim paints indoors.
They are flexible in nature to allow for the expansion of wood, and not as hard drying as interior products, to make no mention of fungicides, though more a masonry paint issue.
