Tiling shower

My walls are not 100% straight and the centre is about 8mm further in from the top and bottom. I need to put the shower door there.
Any advice on what to do?
Is it ok to pack adhesive thick enough to make it straight all the way?

Also, where is the cheapest place in Manchester to buy large tiles?

You mean I should plaster it before I start tiling?

yep you need to take the bow out of the wall. shower frame will take out a mm or 2 of variance but not as much as 8 mm.

as above 2mm out is max. anything more and the jamb can be distorted when its fixed and it will then surely leak.
what kind of materials are the walls?
enclosure jambs are usuly pinned through the tile to the backing.

Do I have to plaster it or can I hear lay on more tile adhesive to fill the gap. I don't have the time to wait for the plaster to dry?

You could, but you will need to check with a good straight edge for plumb and level as you tile. Must be a powdered adhesive not ready mixed.

You can get shower doors that are adjustable for non standard openings. You might be able to get away with one of those if the outside frame bends the inside will still be straight. Might look a bit funny though.
You could always cut a groove......................
