Russell Roof Tiles/Scott Tiles dry-verge units

Post by foy9999 »

Hi folks.

Bit of a long shot but was replacing bargeboards on a customer's house this week and he has a few dry-verge units missing.

Looks like they are obsolete (stamped 1994 inside).

Anyone got any?

Well I got the units. Brand new, L & R, for £2+ each from my local SIG Roofing outlet (Gallowgate, Glasgow) :occasion5:

I didn't phone to check if they had them and turned up to see if they had anything similar that I could butcher to fit. I'd tried some Marley units against them but they were quite different.

The guy in the yard recognised the brand but didn't hold out much hope of having them. The young guy behind the counter laughed when I explained they were stamped 1994 saying that was before he was born.

Anyway a couple of minutes later the guy appeared with some brand-new units. Result
