Salt inhibiter as a preventitive wet rot?

Is it possible to use a salt inhibiter on brick and stone to prevent any wet rot taking hold in the future.
all timbers have been treated already with a wet rot solution, im talking in the celler!
ie on the stone steps and brick walls, as i dont want to paint and seal in any future damp.
Vents, fan and wood treatments have already been done, guess im just being careful ... thx in advance

no, that stuff wont work.splashing wet rot stuff on the wood unless theres been an outbreak of wet rot is useless as well. wet rot in joists is usuly in the seatings in the brickwork pockets.
ground water pressure will force its way through any cellar brickwork,its how you treat it once its inside with such as tanking ,channeling and pumping thats the chief way of dealing with damp cellars
