alright fellas,
ive been to check out a job for a friend of mine. both the bath and basin waterfall taps are knackered.
ive priced them up at wickes..... nigh on £300
and screwfix.
are any online suppliers worth checking out? screwfix want £132.96
the flat these taps are to go in is rented out by my mate but he would rather replace like for like than go with a contract tap or whatever. so waterfall would be going back in
i normally stick to joinery but i fit a canny few bathroom suites but im not up on online suppliers etc
cheers all
best suppliers for replacement taps

would there be any issue using these taps? or are ebay taps best avoided for any reason?

Re: best suppliers for replacement taps
Quite where to start..
Those sorta taps are only suitable for high pressure (combi boiler or another HP system)
Soooo if this is a gravity system they're no good.
Even so assuming high pressure then E-bay isn't the best place to buy.

I tend to use local independants for that sorta stuff. Having said that the E-bay price does look attractive... Think I'd be looking at £200 ish for that ...fin wrote:and he wanted to basically replace like for like so it still looks same
