Hi all had trouble logging on but sorted now, i have just made a small rocking horse for my great grandson copy of the new yankee workshop one, made from american white oak, and a toy box, and thought maybe you'd all like to look at it hope you like took three day's including prepering the sawn wood

Fantastic rocking horse! Looks really well made.
Looks like the head Is laminated to build the strength up in the neck?

no it's not laminated its 2 pieces of solid oak domino'd together, it was a little bit tough because the foot rest go's all the way through with the sides at twelve and a half degree's they had to line up very precisely
