Transfer contacts from Nokia N97 to Motorola Moto E
As the title says.. Is there any easy way to transfer the contacts from my Nokia to my new MotoE smarterthanmephone (apart from sitting here all night doing it manually,, by which time I'll be ready to launch the new smartphone at the bloody wall)

No idea but you should be able to save them to the sim. Rest assured some clever chap will post about 3 pages on how too.

Cheers Scruff, only problem is my old Nokia uses a normal size sim card and the MotoE has one of those micro sims. Found a program called Wondershare, but if it's only a trial account it will only transfer 5 contacts (plus it installs another app on the android phone, which can use your phone to call any number at any time and gather data from the phone (for what purpose??) )

If I recall correctly you can transfer all your contacts details to a Gmail account and then lift them from your Gmail account to your smart phone.

It's a Nokia N97. I've already saved a .csv file on my desktop. So if you know how to transfer that via gmail I'll try it

Doh.... as Homer Simpson would say.. Bloody smarterthanajoinerjohnphone already has an app called Motorola Migrate on it. Updated it and it allowed me to select my old phone. Connected to it via bluetooth and imported all of my contacts in seconds. FFS why didn't I think of that in the first place?? Grrrrrr
