Saunier Duval Isofast 35 e - Very sporadic overheat

Post by swell610 »

Suffering a very sporadic overheat on this boiler. Could 2 no anti knock devices on HW circuit be contributing? Don't think it is the switch malfunctioning as when the HW is turned off the temperature readout on the boiler seems to race up as the hot water circuit pressurizes.

Any help / pointers really very much appreciated.

Thanks Guys.

What is an anti knock device?

If its a surge arrester then I dont see that will hyave any effect on the boiler.

These are not popular with installers and you may have difficulty finding an engineer willing to work on it!
