It is that listing that the Logik radio uses. Haven't come across that before but looks very good.skiking wrote:Try https://www.reciva.com/ for radio player on your PC
Sorry Hank - I didn't mean to be a smart arse
Did you buy the BT Internet radio One on-line? If so, you can reject it for ANY reason you want - don't even have to give a reason, so maybe worth nippng into PC world to have a look (I was really surprised to see this) - I think Currys also sell (Price was £40, not £35 btw - got mixed up with other thing I bought)
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I actually bought the Internet Radio for the wife - and she LIKED IT! (I am saying that like that as Mrs H tends to take approx 12 months to understand the gifts I get her).
Then again, as this was her birthday pressie for last April, I guess that is 6 months gone already, so only a bit faster then normal
Think I need to go but one for meself now

I have now to get another one (a cheapy one) for the wife so she can listen to french stations when shes working. Big hit with her.
I'm now addicted to the 600 talk stations...........drunk Australians as its the middle of the night there, and usa stations which go from high quality (fox news talk) to completely stupid DJs and callers on most of the rest. Orkney talk is funny (and backwards)

I took the Logik one back as it had a funny bit on the screen, but bought two more of them, so wife and me got one each.
I would definately recommend the Logik IR100 for the money 39.99 in PC World and Currys.
Not sure if you have done it yet, Hank, but if you register on www.reciva.com and then link your radio to your reciva account, you can create a favourites list of radio stations on the PC and then they will appear on the radio - makes it real easy to get to your favourites.
Which Aussies stations have you tried?
Orkney Radio ... talk about broad scottish accents
Internet Radio + Reciva.com =

logged on website and registered radio........how do you get your onling list of stations on the radio?
Cheers for the link
I have just been surfing the oz talk stations, so not settled on any yet. Listening to dominic diamond on talk 107, I think its his first day and knowones phoning in
On that website, if you pick say 'talksport' as a favourite station, it shows about 10 other stations below it that people have also listened to, and a lot of them are good.

Bit on the pricey side but this is one which could be good for handymen!
Runs on batteries and is splashproof ...

talk 107 is pretty good, its owned by talksport, so they mix talksports non sport programmes in with scottish output.
Domanic diamonds show is really good, saturday/sunday mornings. (not particularly scotland based, so just a general chat show)
Then tommy sheridon is on after him, what a complete numpty. He is shockingly anti english, as are his callers. There's a bit of ribbing, then there's just being a racist, and he is truly hatefull with it.
