Hey guys, I should have started a welding course this year but it maybe 12-18 or even 2 years till can do that now. Can anyone advise me on what tools that I could start looking at to buy? Bench grinder someone mentioned wolf brand apparently they are decent older equipment. I've looked and only see 3 phase which I don't think I can use. I've a vise. Was looking at a pipe vise but not sure if that's of any use at some point. I don't mind secondhand quality or new. Tho something tells me some of the older stuff maybe better?
I have a few angle grinders and a vise. Plus various wood tools.
Any help much appreciated.

What will you be making?
Assuming you have a welder, and an angle grinder, you can do an awful lot with normal hand tools, which you will need anyway.
A small assortment of hammers, cold chisels, hacksaw and blades, files etc. to start with.
Doesn't need to be "every tool in the shop" it's best to buy tools as you need them for the job in hand.
