Hi All
I am hoping someone will be able to help me.
I have recently purchased the Danfoss RET2000B-RF and RX1-S thermostat package to replace a very old and broken Drayton RTS1.
The problem I have is that the new stat has a requirement for 4 wires, whereas the wires in place total 3.
Current set up on Drayton: Neutral, live and call for heat.
New Danfoss: Neutral, live, common and off.
How, if possible, can I get the new stat working on the 3 wires?
I've tried Danfoss tech support, where no one answers emails and I am sick of getting placed in a queue for 20 mins a pop!
Thank you

If you are sure it needs a wire for "off" it may be that the boiler only requires 12v, but the stat need 240 to operate, and you can't mix the two, so you would need to run another cable.
are you 100% sure it needs one for "off"

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

To be totally honest. I don’t know.
I like to get my hands dirty, but when it comes to electrics my father in law usually does it.
I was hoping it would be something daft that he missed
