I saw a cast iron bath fall off the back of a truck once, that made a racket: and a whole load of glass off a van another time, about six large sheets laid flat on a roof rack, he didn't even make it out of the glass merchants yard, down the dip of the kerb and off they all slid - I can't deny it, I did chuckle.fin wrote:

My trestles weren't tied on at all, I put them up there first thing as I didn't need them, just plain forgot they were there. Wondered why that geezer was making funny hand signals at me when he caught me up at the roundabout - I reckon they came off at the previous roundabout, possibly not too far from his car.
Picking up a good second hand pair of Zags tomorrow - less than a pony - I love Ebay.
One day it will all be firewood.

I'd take a punt against that, (but I'd try to see the funny side if I'm wrong).

One pair of almost pristine beauties, they've definitely never seen a building site, just a couple of car-boot sales.
I gave them a wash, and chose to disinfect them too - collected them from a woman who must have an abattoir in her kitchen.
Who the heck gets up in the morning and thinks "I'll wear these clothes with at least a months worth of food-stains covering them" ?
