Is this a good skim as there is lots of cracks and dark patches

No pic showing I'm afraid. But I'd say if there are cracks it's not the best.

Did you do it this week? What did he use, thistle multi finish? They are hard to dry between coats in this cold weather. Did the plasterer use a heater to dry between coats?

I am not a plasterer but had mine done on Thursday, no cracks, no heater used but still brown areas slowly drying I believe. It is very smooth finish.

The pics below are from Thurs just after couple of hrs from plasterer finishing, brown finish, now developing more lighter patches, assume is drying, I am keeping windows open during the day and slightly open at night, I think needs air flow to dry.
