All I can say is that they look really strange. Don't like seeing OSB used in small pieces like those - it certainly wouldn't pass muster with me. Was the installer a kitchen fitter?

I can only assume that the walls in that corner are well out of square, are the walls plasterboard/stud wall or plaster on brick ??
