Parkside Plunge Saw-Not Impressed

Post by ahfix »

I got my parkside plunge saw last year so it might be different to this years model.

I've used the stock blade and tracks to cut down a 20mm soft wood table top and square the edges - worked fine (as you'd expect). Also used it a few week ago both cross cut and rip cut old lengths of decking joists (2 x 6 I think) to make a mud kitchen worktop. I did experience some kick back (likely my fault) but otherwise the machine cut fine. I also used the saw to trim the edges to square them up with cuts between 2 - 5 mm and again it was fine. Admittedly I wasn't too concerned about getting very thing 100% square as you would a door.
