Nuca 231 toilet flush handle

Post by science_guy »

Morning all, wondering for a bit of assistance finding a specific toilet flush handle, as otherwise I'll need to replace the whole flush mechanism. I have so far looked through all the usual non-trades places which are currently open (Screw fix, B&Q etc) so asking here are to whether this flush model is really that uncommon? There is no compatibility with similar systems (Fluidmaster). The alternative is to replace the flush system but I'd need to get a professional in to sort that.

So I am looking for just the flush handle for a Nuca 231 system. I posted pictures attached, perhaps there are trade-specific places I could order one of these from.

Is it mechanical, it looks pneumatic? Is it the sort that can be foot activated with a step on button? I would have thought that you could fettle a new handle by cut and fitting a standard handle? Or have I misunderstood

The system I have (installed by a plumber 3 years ago or so), is a lever rather than a button. You can see from the pictures of the one on sale on Amazon with the button system that it links to the cable unit end-on, however my level system has what looks like a different cable unit. Hence I could try the push button, but could be out of pocket when it arrives and doesn't work with the specific cable part mine has
