Hi all
I'm currently stripping my old ensuite ( after a few leaks and horribly old style shower ect).
While I have everything out should I renew 17year old wavin push fit fittings ( grey with brass collars)?
The main reason I ask is it seems to be a major junction point for the house plumbing and neighbours have all had problems (leaks in the same area over the years .

I am NOT a plumber or heating engineer, but if you live in the same style of house as your neighbours, and they have all had problems in the same area of the house, and you now have access to that area, it would seem to be a good idea to replace the fittings, BUT make sure you can get replacements BEFORE you do anything else. I would also suggest you ask your neighbours what they did / had done.
