Some great albums - but can you identify the covers?

Post by James Morris »

Great game - cleared the answers for everybody else to have a go.

Probably got about 75% done, so if anybody needs any help - just shout :director:

Sorry it´s so annoying! You´ll find it more annoying when you realise that there are four pages of it (click on the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet).

Good going Dodge except OMD - think Manchester.

DWD - some on the other pages may look more familiar to you

Good Luck

Great Effort Foggy!

Some of the gaps -

The Thompson Twins album is "Into the Gap"
Top Right is Whitney Houston´s debut album called "Whitney Houston"
Manic Street Preachers was "This is my truth, tell me yours" (lad knew that)
The one between Dire Straits and Kylie is Deacon Blue "Raintown" (lad again)
and there is a Madonna "True Blue" in there as well.
Didn´t have Eminem

Quiz 2 (thanks to all my kids)

Take That "Greatest Hits"
U2 "Under a Blood red Sky"
Morcheeba (?)
The Verve "Urban Hymms"
Nelly Fortado "Whoa Nelly"
Jimmy Nail "Crocodile Shoes"
Dire Straits "Alchemy"
Texas "White on Blonde"
Melanie C "Northern Star" (getting worried about my lad at this point!)
Seal "Seal 2"
(?) (?)
Travis "The Man Who"
Janet Jackson (?)
(?) (?)
Skunk Anansie "Stoosh"
Sam Brown "Stop" (OMG! I remember her dad!)
The Beautiful South "Carry on up the Charts"
Various Artists "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (now I am really worried!)
Craig David "Born to do it"

Quiz 3 (Bit stuck myself)

Second line starts with The Very Best of the Pogues
After Bon Jovi on line 3 it´s INXS "Kick" (?) and U2 "Achtung Baby"
The Christians "The Christians" is the one before David Gray, and the one before Rumours is Enya´s "Watermark".

Quiz 4

Radiohead is "The Bends" and (to my eternal shame) line 2 starts with Go West "Go West" / Frankie Goes to Hollywood "Welcome to the Pleasuredome" and ABC "Lexicon of Love". The Billy Joel album is "Innocent Man" and I am going to come down out of the loft and look up the rest on the Internet!

Still nowhere near finished, so if somebody else would like to chip in ... ... ...
