And do I need an undercoat? Its only 2 sills so don't need much and would rather have a combined undercoat.

Also what type of paint should I use? I have wooden frames as well so really want to use the same paint for wood and stone.

The prep I am doing is Nitromors to strip the paint then Polyfill wood hardener to treat the wood.

You could go Zinsser Allcoat which is excellent on masonry and concrete. Self priming too.

Thanks but I think I need a primer that I can paint gloss on. I want the sill and wood to be the same colour. Even if I purchased two seperate paints the colours for maisinary paint are very limeted and the rest of the sills are burgandy so I want to keep with that.

Allcoat gloss is self priming too. You can get it colour mixed.
