Papering round this fireplace...

Hi all, any tips for cutting around this fireplace...especially the top plinth bit...it was a right hassle on right hand side due to recess and socket.....gotta do the LHS tomorrow and wondered if there was any thing I should be doing? Regards Alan

I personally would start from the middle of the fireplace and work either side depending on your pattern drop and the pattern weather i would start with the paper exactly in the middle or start from the middle with the edge of the paper , I would also look to see if the fire surround could easily be removed and replaced

Masses of relief cuts perpendicular to the final cut. Never guess a cut.
