Mazda 2 Capella 2006 dipped headlight bulb

Post by lazygin006 » Wed Oct 30, 2019 12:29 pm

Hi both of the light bulbs have blown for my dipped headlights and I could not figure out how to open the holders up to replace them . Tutorials online all seem pretty simple with just unplugging the electric wires and fitting in new bulbs but I could not even get pass unplugging it. Greatly appreciated if someone can shed some light on this and here's picture of how it looks.

My guess would be you maybe squeeze the tab alongside where it says 12v on both sides and pull, or of course they could flip out.
Also check around the black plastic for any lugs to squeeze and release the plug.
