it is amazing how useful that tool is

You have already noticed probably, but there is a control on the end to adjust the vibrations/occilations - I only saw that after reading the UHM review

No extras needed usually - The Weegie may have some spare blades available at a much better price then the shops - it does wear the blades out, I will say - and they tend to get quite hot!

Bought one. Just wish I had been to B & Q/Makro, which were cheaper than my internet deal.

I have seen pictures of a scaper blade, sold as an accessory. What is the scraper blade for? Does it have serations?

I have found that I also get burnibg when using the 85EC blade to cut skirting.

Is this a characteristic of the machine or is the speed to high?

Does the Fein suffer in the same way? If not, do the Fein blades fit the Bosch?

I'm sure that the blades from the Fein are interchangable with the Bosch.

When I have used it on wood it has always burnt a little, if you reduce the speed it does not cut as fast, I guess you have to find a happy medium.

I bought 4 blades from http://www.lawson-his.co.uk/

were cheaper than ebay. All blades say that they can be used with Fein multimaster.

I used it the other day. was trying to get to flexible hoses off a tail for a mixer tap. It was impossible to get a spanner at it the hoses and didn't have the correct spanner to remove the tap. Cut them off with the bosch and put on new flexible (pushfit) hoses.

Don't make the mistake I did and use the wood bit for cutting metal.

Thanks all, I got a wood cutting blade and a metal cutting one when I bought it. The wood cutting one is now as much use as one made of chocolate! In saying that, a few weeks ago I laid about 80m2 laminate flooring in a bungalow. With 14 lots of architrave to trim it was inevitable I hit several nails in the process, so the blade is now *ucked!

also interesting to note its gone up £5 since last wednesday

lawsons do it cheaper but you dont get the kit box
