I cant tell which is the better drill

Post by edge1971 »

I have been on the Dewalt website and there are many 18 volt drills. Now I'm not a tradesman so I dont know all my stuff so can anyone tell me what the differences are between the drills?
You have 1x 9 volt and 3 with 5ah wahtever that is and two other 18v. Are they just serial numbers of older models and any 18 volt will do or is there new tech on some?

Think of voltage as the engine and ah as the fuel tank.

Better to ask which drill would better suit my needs? DIY or trade ? do you already have dewalt batteries and is that the reason for wanting dewalt ? what sort of budget ? What sort of use/abuse is it likely to get ?
