I’ve just finished rebuilding a new garden wall across the back of my garden and down 1 side. It’s blockwork (laid flat), sitting on a 550mm wide footing which is about 800mm deep.
The soil is a clay mix. The wall is about 12m across the back and 6m down the side. Just under 2m high.
Originally we were going to lay mostly grass but have now decided to lay patio. As such I have been thinking about where to run the rain water to.
I was considering a Soakaway but I know it has to be 5m from the house. So it will end up being right against the boundary wall. Which is also not advised.
What’s the solution in these situations?

Soakaway location
You probably know but just in case:
don't forget the bit about, at least two and a half metres from a boundary.
This is to prevent subsidence of the wall and to stop rainwater on your property flowing into your neighbour's garden.
edit:
sorry just realised what I posted, not being much help there, apologies
