Ceiling cladding

Post by chris150157 »

Hi I am a newby and just joined the forum, can anyone please help, we are going to fit ceiling cladding to our kitchen ceiling, however, we have a slope in one corner that is actually the under stairs, and the ceiling continues onto the slope please advise how to continue from the straight ceiling onto the slope, does anyone know of a video we could watch to see this process or explicit instructions on how to join everything together. Many thanks for reading and any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I'd leave the slope un-clad. Cut the ends to meet the angle of the slope. I think it's normal to clad only the horizontal (flat) surfaces.

i agree with K/E. just do the flat ceiling and finish it off with trim. if you want a demo on it then look up Ultimatehandyman on youtube, he has put some up for bathroom ceilings, the job is the same.
