Help Needed!

Post by hopelesslady »

Hey everyone,

hoping someone knowledgeable can help me..

so I accidentally set fire to the tip of some cardboard that comes with my kitchen scales whilst trying to cook 2 things on the stove, I blew it to put it out but it was still smoking loads so I thought best put it outdoors... stupid me did not think that the patio door ledge is plastic and now I have a nice burn mark :( :(

Is this fixable?? If so how and with what??

Any advice appreciated

Next time, hold it under the tap and wet it.

Re the burnt UPVC window, get some filler and paint, and cover it up.
I started out with nothing, I still have most of it.

A pic showing the damage may help the pro's when they are on.

A light sanding and paint I think is the only solution, unless you can buy a new step.

Try a bit of cif or a similar cream cleaner and see how much of the scorch mark comes off..may not be as bad as it first looks..
