This new washer has been bought at the correct time, as I'm the busiest I have ever been with pressure washing (x3 at least), everyone wants it done this year for some reason

http://www.dm-tools.co.uk/product.php/s ... LTPOS224XT Prices range from £430 to £750 on the internet, and DM Tools were the cheapest (and the best customer service). It takes 5 days to come direct from Denmark. I'm sure the price will come down, as its only just out. Used the machine twice so far, and its good. It more powerful than the bosch and makita. (I would guess the litre per hour of water is as per spec, and its this that makes it better) The plastic casing is at least 2 x thicker than the Makita and Bosch ones I have had. Big on off switches are solid. The Lance and nozzles are in a different league to anything else I have seen. Thick stainless tubing and big brass fittings with the nozzle ends being super tough (in comparison to the makita and bosch) Its a real trade machine. Is it worth the extra money..........for sure it is on first impression, but it will be proved after a summer of washing without it breaking. Time will tell. For reference... we're agents for Nilfisk Alto, dealt with by the servicing dept, we usually end up repairing the hoses Handy, if you need a turbo nozzle let me know, i'll be down at my dads next month not sure what one of those would cost with my staff discount |

usual bursts when the hose gets older, most damage done when dragging hose across concrete. |

the only downside i have found with this machine is that it has 'different' heavy duty connectors for the nozzles to fit into the lance. This means the standard drain cleaning kit (£50) and the standard patio cleaner head (£40) from Nilfisk dont fit. You need to get the pro versions, which cost (according to dm-tools) £300 each!! Might have got the drain kit, but not at £300. |

yes! But the nilfisk rep phoned today, and he says there isnt an adaptor to make the trade connector fit the domestic stuff

adaptor will probably be 3 bits, male end to suit hose, female end to suit accessory, probably need a nipple in the middle |

ok, I have been in & spoken to the guys in the workshop, they advise against using the domestic drain cleaner with the Posiedon machine, it will spend too much time by-passing as the flowrate is too low plan B, I can get the ERGO nipple & the ball jet from the workshop & i can make up the hose to suit using paint hose, I'll quote you when i get back to work in a the 3rd the hose comes off a coil so can be made to whatever length you require & i'll post it down |

latest attachment they are doing next door is a venturi pump for the power washers basically you can use the power washer to drain a pond the water goes in through a venturi, any solids get broken up by the jet & it discharges through a 1.1/2" hose |

how are you getting on with the power washer handyman? speaking to the boys in the workshop, the thing to watch out for is wear on the green `o` rings, the 2 that go most often are, 1:- in the hose reel 2:- in the by-pass, when you release the trigger, the motor shuts off. when the `o` ring goes it stops/starts/stops/starts...... how are you getting on with the jetting hose? |

jetting hose, used once so far, and worked The spinny bit is superb  
The machine has been used for a further 30 full days since the late summer, and is still working fine..........although i have been told that there was a slight oil stain on the patio on the last job (which the cleaner removed!) I was going to phone the service center to ask about it dropping a very small amount of oil? |
