How to Parser links

Here are the instructions on how to parser a link, this means that you can post a link to a webpage and choose the name of the link, like this- Hinton Heating

Here is how the code looks-

Code: Select all

[url=http://www.hintonheating.com/]Hinton Heating[/url]
The first portion of the link Is the url where you wish to send people to.

The second part Is the link text that you wish to use.

Once you have implimented this line of code into the forum you can test it by clicking preview.

If it does not work then check to see if there are any additional spaces as these can prevent it from working.

You can also use a link shortening service such as http://tinyurl.com/

Then you get a short URL, like this-

http://tinyurl.com/69g64lm

instead of a long link like this-

http://www.ultimatehandyman.org/video/p ... ttings.php
