Walnut bowl

Post by Chippo1 »

Had a piece of walnut laying around , so turned a little bowl. Tried to get a more contemporary look rather than what seems to be the norm for wood turned bowls , it’s only small but I think it worked , loverly grain and colour , treated with Tung oil as the tin was to hand . It’s around 110mm high

Beautiful figure, the grain really pops out in the turning. I do not usually like wood bowls but that looks really nice, it has a modern contemporary style. Well done.
