Been working on this for a week,

The slabs are the ones the bungalow came with so up cycled, the odd red ones and broken ones are underneath forming a sub base for the repositioned slabs. We have made this entrance future friendly not steps ect.

Neighbours did want to do anything about the fence so we did some cladding of the fence with horizontal contemporary roofing battens. The meter boxes and down pipe will be boxed in with doors in a similar way

The left hand side will be slate and there will be some pots along one side of the paving all the same most likely with trimmed box

When I finish it will be for sale , you interested Gadget ? That’s not the drive that the helli pad in the rear garden.

Got job, amazing the results you can get with a few minor improvements.

I fancy battening out the inside face of my vertical slatted fence. The posts are are 1.6m centres, bit too much for tile battens?

Nope I have another post where I did exactly that, all survived the storms, the fence does have concrete posts and gravel boards.

I screwed a vertical batten to either side of panel tight to the concrete posts, the horizontals to these batterns , I used 4 x 40 screws as I recall. I did put some middle vertical battens to just to maintain gaps. I used piece of timber throughout as a gauge for the gaps.

Thanks Tom , our bungalow is in an odd place and as one person said it doesn’t have curb appeal , but this has resolved the kerb appeal.
