I'm joining this forum as I'm a city dweller, through and through, used to renovated rented flats and calling someone to deal with housing issues, who's looking at the opportunity to buy a house in the countryside
I've started enjoying it more and more, as the big city life isn't as exciting when you're 40 as it was when you were 22. But as you may have guessed, I'm not too confident in my handyman skills; I've started doing some basic work last year, building shelves and fixing furniture, but that's still a far cry from being able to handle a house in the countryside.
And that's why I'm here!
