Milwaukee M12-M18 mulitipurpose charger

Post by ultimatehandyman »

The Milwaukee M12-M18 charger is an ideal solution for charging Milwaukee 12v or 18v batteries from the one charger.

The main advantage is that you only need the one charger to charge the two different voltage batteries which makes the job a lost simpler if you have to get your charger PAT tested before use on site.

It charges the batteries on a first come first charge basis, so the first battery inserted will be the first to charge.

The unit can charge a 3ah battery in approximately 60 minutes and a 1.5ah battery in approximately 30 minutes.

good move to charge in turn
now interestingly
the batteries are 10.8 and 18v as in 3x 3.6v =10.8 and 3.6 x5=18v
a rechargable battery will start around 20% overvolt and go flat about 15% below
so 10.8 will start around 13v and finnish around 9v
a 18v will start around 21.5v and finnish around 15v
so the industry standard is the mid point so 3.6v per cell
we are all ------------------still learning
