Which drill option

Post by dannyboyno7 »

Hi,
Looking for some advice on which drill set to purchase! I have always got by with a 18v B&D (which has died) & lending off my Father in-law.
I am going to be starting numerous projects, renovating a house and want to build up a tool set of my own.
I have narrowed my choices down to either
Stanley FatMax Cordless 18 V 1.3A Li-ion Brushed Drill Twin Kit +
2 batteries FMCK465C2S-GB priced £100 (combi drill & impact)
Or
Bosch EasyDrill 1200 Cordless Drill/Driver with 12 V, 1.5 Ah
and a
Bosch Cordless 18V 1.5Ah Li-ion Brushed Drill driver 1 battery Bosch PSR 1800 LI-2 priced £112.43 for the pair.

I’ve recently purchased a bosch jigsaw & was tempted to go the bosch route or will having 2x 18v be more beneficial?
Any help or advice would be massively appreciated
Thanks in advance

Which drill option

is the jigsaw cordless ?
i found having the impact drill with 3 speed has been very very useful (i have dewalt) how many settings are on the impact driver you are considering.
I'm only a diyer doing various projects on the house and have slowly extended the dewalt range keeping all the same batteries - i would suggest keeping to one make and having various size batteries to run across different tools
