SDS Drill no hammer function.
I would appreciate any advice re the following. My Titan SDS drill has lost the hammer function ( the drill function is ok ). Having looked inside, the piston appears to be working normally and the O rings on both the piston cylinder and the striking cylinder look ok. I replaced the recommended amount of grease but still no hammer action. Any ideas ? Many thanks in advance.

If you bought it at Screwfix then take it back for a replacement, they don’t normally argue about a swap.

Daft that it sounds, have you got it on hammer? my one doesn't always engage
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.
Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

It will be the cam or something to do with the selector, the titan brand can be hit and miss it can last years or days its also rebranded under other names like Rockwell and Bauker
Spares wise I have used these a few times (Metabo bandsaw parts last order)
