Replacement Staple Type Question?.

Post by saltyseadog »

I have had the Clarke 3 in 1 stapler like the one in the link for a few years but ran out of 6mm staples. when I went on Ebay to order some new standard staples I became confused as they mention 24/6, 26/6 etc. Can anyone help me with which of the ones in the links below are the ones I need?.

Isn't it the staple width? The leg and width are the critical measurements. Can you measure the width of the staple track and the receiver where the hammer hits to determine?

There's a compatability chart here.

Looks like they're "140" size staples for the Clarke stapler.
