Identify timber by grain?
In the house I had an archway made basic square shape, had choice of a few timbers, got so much abuse on a woodworking forum from some members telling me in no uncertain terms that I had to use Oak its my house after all, my local timber mill, one man business, recommended Acacia, so this tread could be Acacia?
